I downloaded this, and you get NO, I SAY... NO FREE ISSUE!!! They just want to sell you their old issues, and other Crap!

Ive spent about 20 minutes just trying to login my current subscription to see the mag on my iPad. Horrible interface has prevented me in doing so.

Cannot get anywhere it just simply does not work.

This app does work, and viewing the magazine on the iPad is great with all the extras like the videos. I do agree with the others that it was a bit tricky to sign in with your existing subscription, but it can be done.

Tried in vain for it to accept my account number or alternately my mailing address to validate my eligibility to no avail.Mickey Mouse.Deleted the Ap.

It does everything you need it to, just not amazingly. It never remembers which page I was on, and just opens to a random article every time. Its newsstand picture is ugly, why cant it be the issue cover? I would really like a portrait mode.

.. as Im assuming i havent yet seen a real issue. When your free preview issue is in fact a buggy, difficult to navigate promo brochure for Jaguar and not an issue at all you can count me out. I was hoping to sample some journalism, not ad copy. Gone.

App works fine but really needs an update for retina display for the new iPad

Im satisfied. More interesting and interactive than the paper version and my mailman doesnt destroy it every month cramming it into my mailbox. I expect it will only get better and certainly far better than some of the auto mags out there which are little more than PDF style repros.

Terrible app. Lost my account information after a "upgrade" and now unable to read any of my previously downloaded editions. Dont waste your money. Guess they should call it downgrades.

Overall I like the interactive interface and makes great use of the retina display. This is so much better that the R&T app for which I have since cancelled my subscription. The negative I do have is that it can be viewed in landscape orientation only. Perhaps its something you get used to but I like the option of viewing in landscape or portrait..... and, if I could only pick one, I would prefer portrait for reading magazines.

Ive been reading MT since I was eight years old, and I love this iPad edition. Though version 1.x was quite buggy, version 2.0 is excellent. Much better user interface, and much snappier in speed. Thanks Motor Trend!

Sure the magazine graphics are great, once you can get it installed. One issue I gave up trying to install twice. Another I had to reinstall 3 times to get it installing without errors. And when you view while downloading, it STOPS the download. Fix this or I cancel my subscription.

This has the potential to be GREAT but is useless because it crashes every 5 minutes, I cannot get past 1/4 of the magazine without it crashing and I have already paid for a yearly subscription. This has occurred three months in a row and I feel I have majorly wasted my money as I paid a premium for the iPad app as opposed to just a digital online version of the paper magazine. MAJOR MAJOR WORK NEEDS TO BE DONE TO MAKE THIS APP ACCEPTABLE

Save yourself the pain. This app crashes every 5 seconds and the navigation does not flow and its choppy. Has potential but there is ton of work to make it with it.
